Sth St. btn Broadway <br />and Sycamore ets. <br /> <br />from voting. <br /> <br />Communications were read from the Willard P.T.A. et al recommending <br />that the swimming pool now under construction at Memorial. Park be <br />named for Judge Kenneth E. Morrison. Mrs. Clark Dye, President of <br />P.T.A.Councll stated that the P.T.A.'s sponsored the pool and selected <br />the name for it. On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Jerome <br />and carrlad, the communications were received and filed. Other <br />members of various P.T.A's emphatical~y voiced their opinions for the <br />naming of the pool to honor Judge Morrieon. On motion of Councilman <br />Jerome, seconded by Markel and carried, the reGuests were denied to <br />name the pool. <br /> <br />Communication of the Planning Commission was read recommending approva <br />of proposed Major Street Plan dated October llth, 1955. After much <br />discussion, it was moved by Councilman Jerome, seconded by Markel and <br />c~rrled, that~ the map presented with the Plan be amended as follows: <br />Four lanes on Memory Lane west from Flow~,r Street; four lanes on <br />Edinger from Bristol Street east and the extension of St. Andrew Place <br /> <br />easterly. <br /> <br />Roll Call Ayes, Councilmen <br /> <br /> Noes, Councilmen <br /> Absent, Councilmen <br /> <br />The <br /> <br />J.
