Resolution No. 73- 90 <br />A RESOLUTIC~ C~ THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA PROHIB- <br />ITING PARKING ON SIXTH STR~wi' <br />~:~:N FLOWER ST~',' AND SHELTC~ <br />STR~v ~ 2:00 A.M. AND 6:00 <br />A.M. EVERYDAY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on sixth Street adjacent to the County Jail there are <br />large numbers of cars parking all night; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, there are two large parking lots adjacent to said area <br />where these night workers could park; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, to clean the street properly on a regular schedule, the <br />street should be clear of parked cars; and <br /> <br /> WE~qEAS, Section 36-132 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code provides <br />that parking may be prohibited during certain hours of the day by resolution. <br /> <br /> THEreFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that parking shall be prohibited on Sixth <br />Street frc~ Flower Street to Shelton Street between 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. <br />every day and the Director of Public Works is hereby directed to install per- <br />manent signs giving notice of such restrictien with the words "TOW-A~kY". <br /> <br /> PASSED AND AD,ProD by the ~City Council of the City of Santa Ana at <br />its regular meeting held on the o day of ~%ugus~ 1973. <br /> <br />COUNTY 5' O~RGE ) SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br /> I, FLORENCE I.
