Chandler <br />None <br /> <br />Each member of the City Council having received copies of the Minutes of <br />November 7th, 1955, readin~ of the Minutes was dispensed with and approved <br />on motion of Councilman Heinty, seconded by Markel and carried, with the <br />ex~ption of Item 8, Pa~e ~29 reference ~rantin~ o~ variance application <br />of Gladys Meyer and Eva King which should have read "for the construction <br />of two units on each lot", on property at 1719 and 1801 Greenleaf Street. <br /> <br />In Re <br />Continued hearing <br />1955 Edition of <br />Uniform Building <br />Code <br /> <br />This being the date set for the continued hearing on the adoption of <br />the 1955 Edition of the Uniform ~uilding Code, the Manager reported <br />that he had a eommunication from the Orange County Builders' Associ- <br /> <br />ation setting forth seven objections to that portion of the Ordinance <br /> <br />pertaining to the cha~ges and use of public property. Communication <br /> <br />was read from the Orange County Master Roofers Association requesting <br /> <br />the adoption of an Ordinance similar to Ordinance No. 608 of the City <br /> <br />of Fullerton regulating roofing construction and on motion of Council- <br /> <br />man Jerome, seconded by Dahl and carried, the communication was <br /> <br />received and filed. Mr. Howard A. Barrows stated that the Code does <br /> <br />not cover the field and recommended that the Council adopt'a similar <br /> <br />0rdinan~e. Hearing closed. On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded <br /> <br />by Heinly and carried, the Manager, Attorney and Chief Building <br /> <br /> <br />
