RESOLUTION 73-97 ADOPTING CERTAIN <br />REVISED CLASSIFICATION SFECIFICATIONS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana has heretofore estab- <br />lished certain position classification titles and classification specifications; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of Santa <br />Ama requires that the City Manager prepare, install and maintain a position classi- <br />fication plan.., subject to civil service rules and regulations and the approval of <br />the City Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in order to maintain the position classification plan in a current <br />and viable condition, it is occasionally necessary to revise the duties, responsi- <br />bilities and/or requirements of certain existing classifications; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is now deemed advisable to modify slightly the specifications <br />for certain existing classifications in order to more clearly and accurately describe <br />and distinguish their duties and responsibilities. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the revised classification specifications <br />for the following classes of positions, said specifications being on file in the Office <br />of the Director of Personnel, be approved and adopted as those to be used in recruit- <br />ing for persons to fill any vacancies in said positions and for other purposes related <br />to employment and employee relations: <br /> <br />Account Clerk I <br />Account Clerk II <br />Co~anunity Relations Assistant <br />Storekeeper <br /> <br />2O <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That this amendment shall take effect on .August <br /> , 1973. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular <br />meeting held on the 20 day o~ August , 1973. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE )SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br /> I, FLORENCE I.
