RESOLUTION NO. 73-107 <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />PROCLAIMING INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS WEEK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Santa Aha College has, in the interest of better <br />international relations with Mexico, established an <br />exchange of sports events with the Instituto Politec- <br />nico Nacional De Mexico; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />under the auspices of the same Santa Ana College, a <br />citizens' committee has been formed to function as <br />the "International Football Conunittee", so as to <br />facilitate programing related to our exchange of <br />sports events with the Instituto Politecnico Nacional <br />De Mexico; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the International Football Committee desires to join <br />Mexico in celebration of its 163rd Anniversary of <br />Independence, and for this purpose has secured the <br />services of the Third Marine Aircraft Wing Marine <br />Band to join in raising the United States and Mexican <br />flags on September 1S, 1973, at 8:00 A.M., in the <br />Plaza of the Flags, Santa Ana Civic Center; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF SANTA ANA hereby proclaims the week <br /> of September 10 through September 16, 1973 as: <br /> <br />"INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS WEEK" <br /> <br />and urges all citizens and all community organizations <br />to join in the observance. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana <br /> at its Regular Meeting held on the 4th day of Septem- <br /> ber, 1973. <br /> <br />ATTEST <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, FLORENCE I.
