RESOLUTION NO. 73-111 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA DECLARING THE ANNEXA- <br />TION OF TERRITORY DESIGNATED "WARNER <br />AND GRAND SOUTH ANNEXATION" <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission of Orange <br />County has approved a description of territory hereinbelow <br />contained and annexation of said territory to the City of Santa <br />Ana, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with the requirements of Government <br />Code Section 54797.1, the Local Agency Formation Commission of <br />Orange County has approved the within annexation and has autho- <br />rized the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, California, <br />to annex said territory without notice and hearing by the City <br />Council of the City of Santa Ana; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED; That the City Council of <br />the City of Santa Ana, California, hereby finds and declares <br />that Resolutions 73-85 and 73-40 are rescinded in their entirety <br />to correct typographical errors; <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED; That the City Council of the City <br />of Santa Ana, California, hereby finds and declares that said <br />territory was uninhabited at the time of the adoption of this <br />Resolution, and is contiguous to the City of Santa Ana; that <br />all of the statements hereinabove are true and correct; and <br />that said territory shall not be taxed to pay any indebtedness <br />of the City existing at the time of this annexation; <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That all of the territory in the <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at an angle point in the City of Santa Ana boundary <br />being the most Northerly corner of "Irvine's Subdivision Annex <br />No. 1 - Revised" to the City of Santa Ana as annexed by Ordi- <br />nance NS-696, said point being at the intersection of a line <br />parallel with and distant 46.00 feet Southeasterly, measured <br />at right angles, from the center line of Newport Avenue with <br />the Westerly terminus of that certain course shown as South <br />67° 34' 11" East, 372.71 feet in said Irvine's Subdivision <br />Annex No. 1 - Revised; thence along said City boundary as <br />annexed by NS-696 and along said parallel line South 40° 39' <br />12" West a distance of 950.00 feet to an angle point in said <br />City boundary; thence continuing along said City boundary <br />North 49° 20' 48" West a distance of 16.00 feet to an angle <br />point in said City boundary and to a line parallel with and <br />distant 30.00 feet Southeasterly, measured at right angles, <br />from said center line of Newport Avenue; thence continuing <br />along said City boundary and along the last mentioned parallel <br />line South 40° 39' 12" West a distance of 886.14 feet, more or <br />less, to the Northeast corner of the "Dyer and Grand Northwest <br />Annex" to the City of Santa Ana as annexed by Ordinance NS-884 <br />thence along said City boundary and along the North line of <br />NS-884 North 88° 36' 10" West a distance of 562.95 feet to an <br />angle point in said City boundary; thence continuing along said <br />City boundary North 43° 36' 06" West a distance of 35.36 feet <br />to an angle point in said City boundary, being on the East line <br />of Grand Avenue, 60.00 feet wide; thence continuing along said <br />City boundary North 88° 36' 10" West a distance of 60.00 feet <br />to a point on the East~line of the "Grand Avenue South of Warner <br />Avenue West Annex" to the City of Santa Ana as annexed by <br /> <br /> <br />
