3/88 EXHIBIT A NOT ATTACHED TO RESOLUTION AT TIME OF PREPARATION FOR MICROFILMING <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 73-114 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE EXECU- <br />TION OF AN AGREEMENT FOR STATE ADMINIS- <br />TRATION OF LOCAL SALES AND USE TAXES <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has adopted an Ordinance <br />imposing a sale and use tax to be administered by the State <br />Board of Equalization; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said ordinance and Section 7202 of the Revenue <br />and Taxation Code require that the City contract with the <br />State Board of Equalization to perform all functions incident <br />to the administration and operation of the sales and use tax <br />ordinance; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City now desires to enter into a contract <br />with the State Board of Equalization for administration of <br />local sales and use taxes; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is autho- <br />rized and empowered to execute, sign and deliver on behalf of <br />the City of Santa Ana, the "Agreement for State Administration <br />of Local Sales and Use Taxes" by and between the City and the <br />State Board of Equalization, a copy of which agreement is <br />attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City <br />of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 1 <br />day of October , 1973. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br /> <br />
