Chandler <br /> Noes, Councilmen None <br /> Absent, Councilmen None <br /> <br /> On motion of Councilman D~hl, seconded by Markel and carried, the communication fr~ <br /> Diehl, Evans and Company submitting a review of the accounting status of the <br /> Stabilization Fund, was received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman D~hl, seconded by Markel and carried, the communication <br />from the City of Baksrsfield with copy of Resolution reference the over-al I water <br />problem of the State, was received and filed. <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilmen Dahl, seconded by Jer~e and carried, that it is the fin <br />lng of this Council that the requirement for the Stabilization Fund for the fiscal <br />year 1955-56 sh~ll be $200,000.OO. <br /> <br />On motion of Counc~]~n D~bl, seconded by Jercme and carried, the Purchasing Agent <br />was authorized to advertise for bids for the furnishing of approximately 3, 570 tons <br />of plant mix street surfacing, in accordance with Specification No. 488-5; bids to <br />be opened Feb~awy 6th~ 1956. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman D~hl, seconded by Markel and carried, the Purchasing Agent <br />was authorized to advertise for bids for the furnishfng of water pipe and fittings, <br />in accordance with Specification No. 481-6; bids to be 'opened Febx,,-ry 6th, 1956. <br />On motion of Councilman D~hl, seconded by Jerome and carried, the plans were <br />approved for the improvement of Bristol Street from Pine to Washington Avenue. <br /> <br />On motion of Counc~]m-n D~b], seconded by Hefn]y and carried, the plans were approve~ <br />for the widening and resurfacing and reconstruction of curb, gutter and culverts on <br />the east side of North Main Street from Fifth to Sixth Street, and the Purchasing <br />Agent was authorized to advertise for bids to be opened February 6th, 1956. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Markel and carried, the reqUest of the <br />0r~ge County Society for ~rippled ~ildren and Adults, Inc., was granted to sell <br />paper lapel Easter lilies on the streets on March 2Brd and 24th, 1956. <br /> <br />On motion of Couneilm~u D~hl~ seconded by Jerome and carried, the applications of <br />Dalton J. Odcm, Earlan Sylvester Spear, Kasimier B. Januskiewicz, Donald A.
