RESOLUTION NO. 73-132 <br /> <br />A RESOI/3rION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />~ESTRIOrlNG STOPPING ON CE~TA/N ARE~ OF FIRST STP~i' <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in order to provide and maintain the maximum traffic flow <br />upon arterial First Street, and to permit channelization of left turning vehicles <br />upon said street, the full width of said street must be ~loyed during certain <br />times of certain days in certain areas; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the maintenance of parking spaces upon said street in those <br />areas during those times would constitute a considerable hazard to motorists by <br />reason of the necessity of maintaining closed traffic lanes to provide such park- <br />ing spaces; <br /> <br />NOW, THE~EFOBE, BE IT RESOLVED: <br /> <br /> S~;J£-ON 1: That this resolution rescinds relevant sectic~ls of <br />Resolution 68-136 and Depaz~Lental Traffic Order No. 71-55 pertaining to curb <br />parking in the prescribed area. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That stopping, standing or parking is hereby prohibited <br />frcm 7:00 A.M. to 9:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. excepting Saturdays, Sur~lays <br />and Holidays on the north side of First Street frc~ Sullivan to Bush Street and on <br />the south side frcm Fairview to Cypress Avenue, except at areas which have previous- <br />ly been designated as bus zones or other no stuwping, stao~ling or parking zones by <br />Departmental Traffic Orders. <br /> <br /> SECTION 3: That stopping, standing or parking is hereby prohibited <br />at all times on the north side of First Street frcm Bush Street to 200 feet east <br />of the center line of Spurgeon Street and on the south side of First Street frcm <br />Cypress Avenue to Orange Avenue. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPr~u by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at <br />its regular meeting held on the 17 day of Decembe~ 1973. <br /> <br />Aa'£~ST: <br /> <br />STATE OF CATffFOENIA) <br />O0UNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br /> I, FLORENCE I.
