Schaefer <br /> <br />3 at a total price of $4830.00, less 2~, plus Sales Ta~es, and the bid of the <br /> <br />Crane Cc~pany was accepted on Item 4 at a total price of $324.00, less 2~, plus <br /> <br />Sales Taxes; ,11 other bids were rejected. <br /> <br />Communication was read from the Planning Commission reco~nending approval of <br />variance application of Eugene P. Schaefer to pemit the .use of property at 1321- <br />23 Sout~ Sycamore Street for used car sales and service, subject to certain con- <br /> <br />ditions. Report was read from Counc~!~an Heinly reference the conference held <br /> <br />with the applicant and the objectors setting forth six conditions which were <br /> <br />Upon. On motion of Councilman Dehl, seconded by Jerome and carried, the report <br /> <br />was received and filed. It was moved by Councilman D~hl, seconded by Markel and <br /> <br />carried, that the variance be granted subject to the six conditions as contained <br /> <br />in the report and +~k~ further condition that the applicant inst~ ] at least one <br /> <br />driveway on the Sycamore Street entrance which sba1 ] not be longer than 50 feet <br /> <br />from the southerly boundary line of the property and that a b~per rail be <br /> <br />along the setback line as contained in condition No. 5. <br /> <br /> <br />
