RESOLUTION NO. 74-25 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA CONSENTING TO THE ENFORCEMENT BY <br />THE HEALTH OFFICERS OF THE COUNTY OF ORANGE <br />OF CERTAIN ORDINANCES, LAWS, RULES AND REGULA- <br />TIONS. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Orange County Health Department has here- <br />tofore been designated by this City Council as the Health De- <br />partment for the City of Santa Ana; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana does not maintain any <br />municipal health department; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the governing body desires the County Health <br />Officers of the Orange County Health Department to enforce the <br />provisions of the Santa Ana Municipal Code relating to health <br />and sanitation, and consents to enforcement and observance by <br />said Health Officers pursuant to Section 476 of the California <br />Health and Safety Code; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That, pursuant to Sec- <br />tion 476 of the California Health and Safety Code the City <br />Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby consents to enforce- <br />ment and observance by the Orange County Health Department and <br />the Health Officers of the County of Orange in the City of Santa <br />Ana of orders, quarantine regulations, and rules prescribed by <br />the State Department of Health; provisions of the Santa Ana Mu- <br />nicipal Code relating to Health and sanitation; other rules and <br />regulations issued under the provisions of the Health and Safety <br />Code; and statutes and ordinances relating to the public health. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its adjourned regular meeting held on the 25 day of <br /> February , 1974. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />
