Council Chamber Santa Ana City Hall Nay 7, 1756. 7:30 P.M. City Council met in regular session. Meeting called to order by the Mayor. Pre sent: Councilmen Absent: Councilmen Dale H. Neinly, J. Ogden Markel, William Jerome, Milford W. D~hl, Courtney R. Chaudler None Each member of the City Council having received copies of the Minutes of April 16th, 1956, reading of the Minutes was dispensed with and approved on motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Markel and carried. In Re This being the date set for hearing and no protests having been received, the amend- Hearing_ Amendment L.N.Harrison et al Ordinance ment application of L.N.Narrison et al was considered for the reclassification of property located on the west side of Bristol Street between Santa Clara Avenue and 22nd Street, from the R-1 to the R-2 District. On motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Dahl and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: "Ordinance ~mending Article IX of the Santa Ana Municipal Code creating changes in district boundaries and amending Sheet No. 22 of the Districting Map to show the reclassification" In Re Hearing - Amendment Otto Trapp et al Ordinance was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. This being the date set for hearing and no protests having been received, the amend- ment application of Otto Trapp et al was chnsidered for the reclassification of property located on the north side of West First Street between Bristol and S~elton Streets, from the R-2 to the C-1-PK District. On motion of Counci]meu Heinly, seconded by Markel and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: "Ordinance amending Article IX of the Santa Aha Municipal Code creating changes in district boundaries and amending Sheet No. 33 of the Districting Map to show the reclassification" In Re Hearing - Amendment %/. F. Croddy Ordinance was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. This being the date set for hearing And no protests having been received, the amend- merit application of W.F.Croddy was considered for the reclassification of approx- imately 105.72 acres, located south of Harvard Street between Harbor Boulevard and Fairview Road, from the R.t to t~e M-1 District. On motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Markel and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: "Ordinance ~mending Article IX of the Santa Ana Municipal Code creating changes in district boundaries and amending Sheet No. 54 of the Districting Map and sdding new Sheets No. 61 and 62 thereto to show the reclassification" In Re Hearioq~ - Amendment James R. Mitchell Ordinance was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. This being the date set for hearing and no protests having been received, the smend- ment application of James R. Mitchell was considered for the reclassification of a parcel of land located on the south side of Fairview Avenue, beginning at a point approximately 492 feet west of the center line of Bristol Street and Fairview Avenue and extending west for 400 feet, with a depth of 1027 feet south, with the exception of the northerly 130 feet of the property measured south from the center line of Fairview Avenue, from the R-1 to the C-2-PK District. On motion of Councilman D~.bl, seconded by Jerome and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: "Ordinance amending Article IX of the Santa Ana Municipal Code creating changes in district boundaries and amending Sheet No. 53 of the Districting Map to show the reclassification" In Re Hearing "North of Harvard ~nnex" was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. This being the date set for hearing protests on annexation to the City of certain uninhabited territory designated "North of Harvard Annex", and there being no pro- tests, on motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Markel and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: "Ordinance declaring the annexation of that certain territory designated 'North of Harvard Annex'"
