Chandler <br />None <br /> <br />Each member of the City Council having rece~'~ved copies of the Minutes of <br />~ay 21, 195~, reading of the Minutes was. dispensed with and approved on <br />motion of Councilman Heinly~ seconded by Jerome and .carried~ <br /> <br />In Re <br />Hearing - Amendment <br />Helen T. Hitt et al <br />Ordinance <br /> <br />This bGir~ the date set for hearing and no protests ha~ing been received~ the amend- <br />ment application of Helen T. Hi~t et al was considered for the reclassification of <br />property located on both sides of proposed Brook Street between Highland and Cubbon <br /> <br />Streets, and Bristol and Shelton Streets, from the R-1 to the R-3 District. On motio <br /> <br />of Cotu~cilman Dab_l, seconded by Jerome and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br />"Ordinance amending Article IX of the Santa AnaMunicipal Code <br /> creating changes in district boundaries and amendir~ Sheet No. <br /> 34 of the D~stricting ~p to show the reclassification" <br /> <br />In Re <br />Bids <br />Legal notices <br /> <br />was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Dahl~ seconded by Jerome and carr~ed~ the Clerk was author- <br />ized to open the two bids for the publication, of legal notices, and other matters <br />required by law to be published~ for the fiscal year beginning July 1st, 1956 ahd <br />ending June ~Oth, 1957, as follows: <br /> <br />Santa Ana Independent: <br />First insertion $0.56 per column inch. <br />Each subsequent insertion $0.54 per column inch. <br />Price includes up to 25 slips clipped from the newspaper. <br /> <br />Santa Ana Register: <br />The first insertion, Saturday only, ~0.TG.per inch. Any other day $1.85 per inch. <br />Each subsequent insertion, Saturday or~ly $$.70 ~per inch. Any other day $1.35 per inch <br /> <br />On motion of Cotulcilman Jerome, seconded by Dahl and carried, the bids were referred <br /> <br />to the ~anager for report at the next meetin~g. <br /> <br /> <br />
