Dahl <br /> <br /> A tabulation of bids was presented by the Manager for the furnishing and installing <br /> <br />of Bristol Street Well Pump No. 18, as follows: <br /> <br />Peerless Pump Division Total $7,444.00 <br />Cashier's check in the sum of $750.00. <br /> <br /> Grand Total <br />plus tax $ 7,741.76 <br /> <br />Byron-Jackson Pumps, Inc. Total $6,925.00 plus tax <br />Certified check in the sum of $800.00. <br /> <br />$7, 202.00 <br /> <br />Layne & Bowler Pump Co. Total $8,021.00 Sales Tax included <br />Certified check in the sum of $850.00. <br /> <br />Wintroath Pumps Total $9,005.75 plus tax <br />Certified check in the sum of $1,000.00. <br /> <br />$ ~,365.98 <br /> <br />Johnston Pump Company <br />Bond in the sum of $800.00. <br /> <br />Total $7,806.08 Sales T~x included <br /> <br />On recommendation of the Manager and on motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by <br /> <br />Jerome and carried, the bid of Byron-Jackson Pumps, Inc., in the sum of $7,202.00 <br /> <br />Plans and Spec. <br />Bristol St. from <br />Washington to i7th, <br />et al <br /> <br />was accepted and all other bids rejected. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Jerome, seconded by Mm~rkel and carried, the plans and speci- <br />fications for the widening and improvement of Bristol Street from Washington to 17th <br />Street; 17th Street from Bristol Street to Louise Street, and on Walnut Street from <br /> <br />Plans and Spec. <br />Assessment D~ou. 197 <br />(Delhi area) <br /> <br />Bristol Street 300 feet west, were approved. <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Jerome, seconded by Markel and carried, that the Director <br />of Public Works be instructed to prepare the plans and specifications for the street' <br />work to be done in the area within the Assessment District 197, the Delhi area south <br /> <br />Proposed annexation <br /> Se~ers~rom Annex No. <br /> <br />of Delhi Road. <br /> <br />Petition signed by Anton H. Segerstrom, Henry T. Segerstrom and Harold T. Segerstom~ <br />Jr., and report of the Boundary Commission were presented on the proposed annexation <br /> <br />of approximately 109 acres being 2475 feet north of Talbert Road and on the east <br /> <br />side of Harbor Boulevard.
