Segerstrom <br />et al ~z <br /> <br />Ordinance No. NS-202 <br />Compensation to be <br />paid members of <br />Planning Commission <br /> <br />Request <br />Oranco Grotto <br /> <br />Map of Tract <br />No. 2948 <br />Industrial Enterprises) <br />Inc. ~ <br /> <br />Record of Survey Map <br />H.R.Brinkerhoff <br /> <br />Public <br />Auctio~ <br /> <br />Bond <br />r~lease <br /> <br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Ordinance, on motion of <br /> <br />Councilman Dahl, seconded by Heinly and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "Ordinance No. NS-201 amending Article IX of the Santa Ana <br /> Municipal Code creating changes in district boun~wies and <br /> adding new Sheet No. 6~ to the districting map to show the <br /> reclassification" <br /> <br />of property located on the north side of Talbert Avenue, with a frontage of ~610', <br />between Bristol Street end Fairview Road, from the R-1 to the M-1 District, in <br />accordance with amendment application of Auton N. Segerstrom, et al, was considered <br />and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen Dale E. Heinly, William Jerome, <br /> Milford W. Dahl, Courtney R. Chandler <br />Noes, Councilmen J. Ogden Narkel <br />Absent, Councilmen None <br /> <br />The Council having ,,~a~imously ~aived the reading of the Ordinance, on motion of <br /> <br />Councilman Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "Ordinance No. NS-202 establishing the cc~pensatlon to be paid <br /> to members of the Planning Comm~ ssion" <br /> <br />was considered and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen Dale H. Heinly, J. Ogden Markel, William Jerome, <br /> Milford W. D~b~, Courtney R. Chandler <br />Noes, Councilmen None <br />Absent, Councilmen None <br /> <br />Orbie Cleghorn, Chief-Justice, Oranco Grotto requested permission to stage a parade <br />on Saturday, October 5th, 1957, at 1:30 P.M. in connection with the Convention of <br />the California-Arizona State Grotto Association to be held at Disneyland. On <br />motion of Councilman Markel, seconded by Dahl and carried, permission was granted <br />with the cooperation of the Police Department as to route of the parade. <br /> <br />The Director of Public Works stated that a~ improvements have been completed and <br />on m~tion of Councilman Dab1, seconded by Heinly and carried, Map of Tract No. 2948 <br />filed by Industrial Enterprises, Inc., fer the dedication of Dyer Road, Oak Street <br />and Alton Street and all vehicular access rights from Dyer Road are offered for <br />dedication to the City, was approved. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Heinly and carried, the Record of Survey <br />Map submitted by H.R.Brinkerhoff, of approximately four lots located on the north <br />side of Chestnut Avenue and east of A.T.&.S.F. Railway tracks, was approved subject <br />to the condition that a Use and Occupancy Permit not be issued until the required <br />improvements of sidewalks and curbs, as required by the Department of Public Works, <br />are completed. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilm~n Markel, seconded by Hei~ly and carried, the request of the <br /> <br />Chief Of Police for permission to conduct a public auction to dispose of unclaimed <br /> etc <br />property, such as bicycles, bill folds, car radios_/ on S~turday, August 25th, 1956, <br /> <br />at lO:OO A.M. at the City Yard, was granted. <br /> <br />Communication was read frc~ the Department of Public Works advising that improve- <br />ments within the boundaries of Record of Survey No. 165 have been completed and on <br />motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by D~hl and carried, bond filed by John <br />Sari~ana, in the s~n of $1400.00 was ordered released and improvements accepted as <br />completed. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Jerome, seconded by Markel and carried, the written recom- <br />mendation of the Acting City Manager, dated August 16th, 1956, setting forth salary <br />step increases for six employees, was received, filed and approved. <br /> <br /> <br />
