BUDGET NARRATIVE <br /> <br />28. Personal Services <br /> <br /> A. Salaries: $68,867 <br /> <br /> 1. Project Director: $582 <br /> <br /> ~he Project Director will be responsible for policy as it <br /> relates to direction and control of the Burglary Prevention <br /> Index and will oversee the entire project operation. 5he <br /> $582 is for 2% of his time during the 12-month project, and <br /> will be from grant funds. <br /> <br />Project Coordinator: $18,876 <br /> <br />The Project Coordinator is re.sponsible to the Project Director, <br />~no represents the Chiefs of Police and the Sheriff of Orange <br />County, for directing the first line operation of the Burg- <br />lary Index. It will be his duties to establish procedure for <br />the receipt, dissemination, and security of Burglary Index in- <br />formation. He will schedule advisory meetings and agendas as <br />well as attend meetings of agencies involved in joint investi- <br />gations. The project coordinator will maintain personal liaison <br />with member agencies and advisory members. He will establish <br />tr~1rdng sessions for advisory members in areas of concern and <br />mutual interest. He will n~intain statistical information on the <br />results of the index operations 'for dissemination and report to <br />the Project Director and the Chiefs of Police and the Sheriff of <br />Orange County. The $18,876 is for 100% of his time during the <br />12-menth project, and will be from grant funds. <br /> <br /> <br />
