Council Chamber <br />Santa Ana City Hall <br />August 22nd, 1956. <br /> <br />5:30 P.M. <br /> <br />City Council met in adjourned regular session. <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Present: Councilmen <br />Absent: Councilmen <br /> <br />Employment <br />0'Melveny & Myers <br /> <br />Dele H. Heinly, J. Ogden M~rkel, <br />William Jerome, Courtney ~. Chandler <br />Milford W. Dahl <br /> <br /> On motion of Councilman Heinly, <br /> <br />seconded by Jerome and carried, the cc~nunication <br /> <br />frc~ 0'Melveny & Myers, Bonding Attorneys, in co~ction with the authorization and <br />issuance of $700,000 bonds for library purposes, was received and filed. On motio~ <br /> <br />of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Markel and carried, the employment of O'Melveny & <br /> <br />Myers, Bonding Attorneys, was approved Setting forth the' fees for the preparation <br /> <br />Reso. No. 56-234 <br />Acquisition and <br />construction of a <br />certain municipa~ <br />improvement <br />(Library Building) <br /> <br />necessary documents in connection with the $700~000 bond issue for library purposes. <br /> <br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of t~e Resolution, on motion of <br /> <br />Councilman Jerome~ seconded by Heinly ~nd carried, the following Resolution entitled <br /> <br /> "Resolut!~ No. ~6-2~ of t~ ~ity C~A~eil ~ th~ City of Santa Ana~ <br /> Californi~ determining that the publ~ic interest and ~e~ssity demand <br /> the acquisition an~ construction of a certain municipal improvement <br /> and making findings relating thereto" <br /> <br /> <br />
