RESOLUTION No. 74-135 <br /> <br />A KESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAIqTA ANA <br />AMENDING SECTION 3 OF RESOLUTION NO. 58-281 TO REALLOCATE <br />THE CLASSIFICATION OF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR-REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />TO A MORE EQUITABLE SALARY RANGE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on November 3, 1958, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution No. <br />58-281, revising and re-establishing the Basic Compensation Plan for employees of the <br />City of Santa Aha; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended this Resolution iu order <br />to maintain the relevency and equity of th~ Basic Compensation Plan; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council desires to maintain the salary of the Executive <br />Direct~-Redevelolmuent Agency within the range of currently prevalent salaries for <br />similar positions in cities of comparable size; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Executive Director-Redevelopment Agency is of a caliber to warrant <br />payment equal to or above the prevailing rate: <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That Section 3 of Resolution No. 58-281 is <br />hereby amended in accordance with merit system principles, by reallocattng the <br />classification of Executive Director-Redevelopment Agency, currently assigned to <br />Range 439, $1778-$2160 per month, as follows: <br /> <br />CLASS TITLE <br /> <br />SALARY RANGE NUMBER <br /> <br />9/1/74 1/1/75 <br /> <br />Executive Director-Redevelopment Agency <br /> <br />477 485 <br /> <br />BE IT FUP, THER RESOLVED: That this amendment shall take effect on September <br /> <br />1st 1974. <br /> <br /> pASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha at its regular <br />meeting held on the 19th day of August 1974. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CL~RK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORAi~GE )SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br /> I, FLORENCE I.
