(a) <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />locations be permitted in the front yard set-back or within <br />areas required for meeting the minimum off-street parking <br />requirements of applicable zoning regulations. Any applicant <br />who has been denied a waiver by the Director of Public Works <br />may appeal such action to the City Council by filing within <br />30 days after such denial, a written statement of his reasons <br />why the City Council should reverse the action from which the <br />appeal is t~ken. <br /> <br />If space for a commercial container is not available, as <br />determined above, the following fee schedule shall apply: <br /> <br /> MONTHLY COST MONTHLY RATE FOR <br />NO. UNITS PER UNIT TOTAL COST TWO MONTHS <br /> <br />4 $1.37 $5.48 $10.96 <br />5 1.37 6.85 13.70 <br />6 1.37 8.22 16.44 <br />7 1.37 9-59 19.18 <br />8 and up 1.37 10.96 and up 21.92 and up <br /> <br />Special container rental service from the refuse collection <br />contractor is available for apartment buildings consisting <br />of a commercial container, one cubic yard capacity, emptied <br />once a week at a cost of $8.00 per month, including castor <br />wheels where needed. <br /> <br />Each commercial and each industrial occupancy and any other <br />occupancy not expressly provided for herein shall pay the basic <br />rate of $3.60 for each two months period. These charges are <br />to be paid to the City for refuse collection other than the <br />container service charges billed and collected directly by <br />the City's refuse collection contractor. There will be no <br />City charge to users of containerized services. <br /> <br />The charges listed in (a) above apply only to refuse services <br />which conform to standard requirements of the City, such as, <br />placement at curb or in alley, not more than 200 pounds per <br />pickup, once weekly, and all other regulations. Any service <br />received in addition to or greater than these standard require- <br />ments shall be handled by agreement directly with the contractor, <br />in addition to the billing by the City as provided herein and <br />except as noted in Paragraph 4 above. Overweight collections <br />and collections beyond the once a week pickup by the City may <br />be provided by agreement with the contractor and shall be based <br />on the commercial container (dumpster) rates for similar amounts <br />of refuse and frequency of collection.
