P~ESOLUTION 73-80 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OP THE CITY COU:~CIL OF THE <br />cITY OF SANTA ~;A AI-~PROVING AN APPLICATION.' <br />'FOR G?JuNT FOR O~ANGE COLQ~?Y NA?~COTICS INDEX, <br />CALIFOPD:'[A COUNCIL ON CRIMINAL JUSTICE A~,~D <br />AUTHORIZING THE CHIEF OF POLICE OF THE CITY <br /> OF S~2{TA D-NA TO EXECUTE ALL' DOCU~rENTS PERTINENT <br /> THERETO. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Aha desires to undertake a certain <br />project designated Orange County Narcotics Index to be funded in part <br />from funds made available through the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe <br />Streets Act of 196~, PL 90--355, as amended PL 91-644, (hereafter <br />referred to as the Safe Streets Act} administered by the California <br />Council on Criminal 'Justice. (hereafter referred to as CCCJ). <br /> <br /> I~OW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY CO~CIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ~NA that the Chief of Police, Raymond C. Davis of the Santa <br />:Aha-Police Department, was authorized on its behalf, to su~mit the <br />attached Application for Grant for Law Enforcement Purposes to CCCJ <br />and is authorized to execute on behalf of the City of Santa Aha the <br />attached Grant Award Qont~act for law enforcement purposes including <br /> ex ..... lo..~ or ~,.e..~m~n~s thereof. <br /> <br /> 'BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the applicant agrees to 'provide..all .. <br />matching funds recuired for said project (including any ~xtension <br />or amendr~ent thereof) under the Safe Streets Act and the rules and <br />regulations of CCCJ and the Law Enforcement Assistance A~ministration <br />and that cash will be appropriated as required thereb~i~' <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that grant funds received hereunder shall <br />not be used to supplant on-going law enforcement expenditures. - <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the city Council of the City of Santa Ana <br />'at its regular meeting held on the 18 day of July ,,, <br />1973. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> ~c7,~.~'c~' 1.
