PERSONNEL SPECIFICATIONS <br /> <br />PROGRAPt~ER-ANALYST <br />TYPICAL DUTIES <br /> <br />The Programmer-Analyst performs highly technical work in pre- <br />paring specifications and in developing procedures and in- <br />structions for a computer program. He creates workable system <br />and procedures to solve problems relating to data processing <br />operations in systems modifications and conversions to computer <br />processes; prepares block diagrams and flow charts outlining <br />the nature of the computer processing and the solutions to <br />problems, guides and/or executes the preparation of actual in- <br />structional steps; verifies program logic by running test data <br />through the computer; prepares instructional notes for computer <br />operator use during produution. <br /> <br />MINIMUP! REQUIREMENTS <br /> <br />EDUCATION: }{igh School graduate. College work in this field <br />is highly desirable, but not a specific requirement. <br /> <br />EXPERIENCE: At least two year's responsible experience in com- <br />puter programming and systems analysis, including experience in <br />the use of COBOL and FORTRAN and including at least one year of <br />experience in the use of machine language. All applications <br />will be reviewed and qualified applicants will be invited to <br />appear for an oral interview. This application review will <br />place particular emphasis on demonstrated experience in systems <br />development - from system analysis through programming and com- <br />puter implementation. <br /> <br />SELECTION PROCEDURE <br /> <br />Residence: ~aived until six months after completion of one-year <br />probationary period.
