Heir]y, J. Ogden Markel, <br />Courtney R. Chandler <br />William Jerome, Milford W. Dahl <br /> <br /> Petition signed by Jack T. Sakioka and Johnny K. Sakioka, recommendation of the <br /> <br />Planning Commission and report of the Boundary Commission were presented on the <br /> <br />proposed annexation of 19.74 acres located south of Delhi Road and east of Southern <br /> <br />Pacific Railroad. On motion of CounciLman Heinly, seconded by Markel and carried, <br /> <br />Reso. No. 56-251 <br />"S.E.Southern Pacific <br />and Delhi Annex" <br /> <br />said documents w~re received and filed. <br /> <br />The Council having, unanim~lXsly waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of <br /> <br />CounciLman Heinly,.second~d by Markel and c~arried, the following Resolution entitle~ <br /> <br /> "Resolution No. 56-251 giving notice of proposed annexation to the <br /> City of Santa Bna of that certain uninhabited territory described <br /> herein and designated 'S.E.Southern Pacific and Delhi Annex' and <br /> giving notice of time and place for hearing of protests thereto" <br /> <br />was considered and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Reso. Dahl <br /> <br />CounciLman Dahl arrived at 5:25 P.M. <br /> <br />On motion of CounciLman Dab_l, seconded by Heinly and carried, the following Resolut~ <br /> <br />entitled: <br /> <br />"Resolution initiating proceedings for the annexation of territory <br />to the City of Santa Aha, designated 'Delhi and Newport Annex', <br />and giving notice of time and place of hearing of protests thereto" <br /> <br />on annexation of 322.29 acres bounded northeasterly by the Santa Fe Railway, bounded <br /> <br />southwesterly by Delhi ]~ad, beunded Southeasterly bY Red Hill Avenue and bounded ~no <br /> <br />westerly by Newport Avenue, was read, considered, designated Resolution No. 56-252 <br />and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, CounciLmen <br /> <br />Noes, CounciLmen <br />Absent, Councilmen <br /> <br />Dale H.
