Finamore, 1609 West Santa Clara Avenu. <br />advising of violation of the chicken Ordinance on adjoining premises, and stated <br />there is no menace of any kind and the premises have the approval of the County <br />Health Department. On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Heinly and carried, <br />the oral report was accepted. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the Manager and on motion of Councilman Markel, seconded by <br />Heinly and carried, the request of the Orange Avenue Christian Church for an extensi, <br />of one year on the Preliminary Map presented by Mrs. Josie Beatty, in regard to <br />Variance No. 68h, for construction of a Church at 80~ East Chestnut Street, was <br />granted. <br /> <br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of <br />Councilman Heinly, seconded by Dahl and c~rried, the following Resolution entitleS: <br /> <br /> "Resolution No. 56-R56 authorizing elimination of the reverse <br /> curve on McFadden Etreet between Orange Avenue and Main Street <br /> as established by the primary street map adopted November 7, <br /> 1955 by Resolution No. 55-~64" <br /> <br />was considered and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Counci]m~en Dale H. Chandler <br />Noes, Councilmen None <br />Absent, Councilmen None <br /> <br />The Manager reported that the Principal of Santiago School has requested an investi- <br />gation for a crossing guard at Flower street and Memory Lane and stated that a <br />traffic count had been taken and recommended denial of the request at this time. <br />Members of the P.T.A. of Santiago School requested a crossing guard on Flower Street <br />and Memory Lane and also some changes in the pavement markings in front of the <br />School. It was moved by Councilman Dahl, seconded by Heinly and carried, that the <br />Manager and Traffic Engineer be instructed to conduct a traffic count at 8:00 A.M. <br />and report back at the next meeting. <br /> <br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of <br />Councilman Heinly, seconded by Dahl and carried, the following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution No. 56-258 concerning parking limitations and curb <br /> markings in accordance therewith" <br /> <br />establishing a green zone on the west side of Baker Street, between Santa Clara <br /> <br />Avenue and Twenty-second Street, at the Santiago School, was considered and passed <br /> <br />by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen <br /> <br />Noes, Councilmen <br />Absent, Councilmen <br /> <br />Dale H.
