Several objectives are: <br /> <br /> m To reduce the high cost of Departmental training by at least 25 - 50%. <br /> ~ To provide 24 hour availability and accessability of timely information for <br /> operati6nal information needs. <br /> · To increase the quantity and quality of available material for trai~ing. <br /> · To provide standardization of information dissemination through pre-recording. <br /> · To increase the impact of the Crime Prevention, Community Relations, and Officer <br /> Training Programs. <br /> · To provide the necessary equipment for continuous re-training of personnel without <br /> a "live" instructor. <br />· To increase officer efficiency by increased training activity during his normal <br /> <br /> · <br /> <br />scheduled shift. <br />To reduce the community crime rate increase through properly produced timely <br />audio/visual information. <br /> <br /> <br />
