Environmental <br />Impact Statement (EIS) means an environmental <br />impact document ~epe~e prepared pursuant to the <br />National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). The Federal <br />Government uses the term EIS in the place of the <br />term EIR which is used in CEQA. <br /> <br />Environmental Review Action Committee (ENRAC) means <br />a committee consisting of representatives from the <br />Planning Department, the Departmen~ of Public Works, the <br />Department of Parks and Recreation~ the Fire Depart- <br />ment, and any other Department of the City of Santa <br />Aha, designated by the Environmehtal Impact Evaluator <br />to act in an advisory capacity to the Environmental <br />Impact Evaluator. <br /> <br />Feasible. Feasible means capable of being accom- <br />plished in a successful manner by reasonably avail- <br />able, economic, and workable means. <br /> <br />Initial Study. Initial Study means a preliminary <br />analysis prepared by the Environmental Impact'Eval- <br />uator pursuant to these rules and regulations. <br />Jurisdiction by Law <br /> <br /> (a) Jurisdiction by law means the authority <br /> <br />of any governmental agenc~ to (1) grant a permit for or <br />provide funding for the project in question, or (2) <br /> <br />-8- <br /> <br /> <br />
