Design, Development and Test~ Implementation and Post- <br />Implementation Rewew (Evaulation) <br /> <br />Task 14 - Convert data base <br /> <br />Task 15 - <br /> <br />Provide for organizational impact, (i.e., Job skill <br />requirements, work flow, facility requirements, per- <br />sonnel staffing, etc.) <br /> <br />Task 16 - Train personnel <br /> <br />Task 17 - <br /> <br />Provide for system operation and implement system <br />design, (i.e., manpower requirements, machine re- <br />quirements, file retentions, etc.) <br /> <br />Task 18 - Review and approve operational system <br /> <br />Task lg - Evaluate system <br /> <br />How the Project Will Benefit the County: <br /> <br />The City of Santa Ana provides 'police service and fire protection to 63 <br />County owned facilities within the city limits of Santa Ana. In addition <br />to these facilities, the Fire Department provides automatic response to <br />23 County facilities in the City of Orange, as well as County islands. <br /> <br />The Fire Department, from lg72 to 1974, responded to over 20 different <br />County facilities on 86 different occasions. This does not include fire <br />safety inspections. The Police Departmenb from January l, 1972 through <br />December 31, 1974, was involved in 2,833 incidents in and around 29 County <br />facilites. Of the 2,833 incidents, 1,Ol9 were calls for service. Calls <br />included such activities as: <br /> <br /> Crime reports, i.e., burglary, assault, etc. <br /> Arrests ' <br /> Alarms _ ~ <br /> Missing juveniles <br /> Lost/found property <br /> Disturbances <br /> Medical Aid ~ <br /> Vehicle theft <br /> Patrol checks <br /> Open buildings <br /> Suspicious persons <br /> Narcotics problems <br /> <br />-4- <br /> <br /> <br />
