RESOLUTION NO. 75-3Z A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING THE COMPOSI- TION OF THE PROJECT AREA COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY, AND FINDING THAT IT IS REPRESENTA- TIVE OF THE RESIDENTS OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA AS AMENDED WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has within its boundaries a redevelopment project; and WHEREAS, that Project Area will be expanded by an amendment to the Redevelopment Plan; and WHEREAS, the area proposed to be added to the existing project contains 1018 residents; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 75-18, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana called upon the residents of the area proposed to be included within the Community Redevelop- ment Project, as amended, to form a Project Area Committee for the purpose of having community representation; and WHEREAS, the Executive Director of the Community Re- development Agency published a notice in The Santa Ana Register on the dates of February 26, 27, 28, March 1, and 2, 1975, calling upon those persons residing in, and the community organizations existing within, the area of the City of Santa Ana proposed to be included within the boundaries of the amended City of Santa Ana Community Redevelopment Project Area advising them of the existence of the Project Area Committee, acquainting them with the services to be provided by the Project Area Committee, and inviting them to the scheduled March 5, 1975, meeting of the Project Area Committee; and WHEREAS, the Project Area Committee of the City of Santa Ana Community Redevelopment Agency met on March 5, 1975, and has formulated rules and procedure whereby it shall represent all the residents of the Project Area, both existing and the area to be added by amendment to the Redevelopment Plan; and WHEREAS, on said March 5, 1975 date, the Project Area Committee invited those persons qualified and present at said meeting to join with the Project Area Committee; and WHEREAS, none of the invitations of the Project Area Committee were accepted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED and found by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana that: 1. The Project Area Committee of the City of Santa Ana Community Redevelopment Agency, as presently constituted, repre- sents all of the residents of the proposed amended Project Area, and is a suitable organization for that purpose.
