<br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
<br />CITY OF SANTA ANA RECEIVING AND FILING
<br />THE PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE REDEVELOP-
<br />MENT PLAN AND REPORT, SETTING THE JOINT
<br />PUBLIC HEARING ON THE AMENDMENT FOR MAY
<br />15, 1975, APPROVING THE NOTICE OF PUBLIC
<br />HEARING AND LETTER STATEMENTS, INSTRUCTING
<br />THE CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE, AND THE
<br />REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY DIRECTOR TO MAIL
<br />NOTICES AND STATEMENTS
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, on April 8, 1975, the Project Area Committee,
<br />after receipt of the proposed Amendment to the Redevelopment
<br />Plan for the City of Santa Aha Redevelopment Project Area
<br />from the Redevelopment Commission, has submitted to the Santa
<br />Ana City Council its report and recommendation regarding
<br />said Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, on April 9, 1975, the Santa Ana Planning
<br />Commission, pursuant to Resolution 6067, approved, received
<br />and filed the proposed Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan
<br />and recommended that it be adopted by the Santa Ana City
<br />Council; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, t~Planning Commission, pursuant to Resolu-
<br />tion 6067, found the proposed Amendment to the Redevelopment
<br />Plan to be in conformity with the General Plan of the City
<br />of Santa Ana, adopted its report as required by Redevelop-
<br />ment Law, and instructed the Planning Director to transmit
<br />said report to the Santa Ana City Council and the Community
<br />Redevelopment Commission; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, on April 10, 1975, the Community Redevelop-
<br />ment Commission, pursuant to its Resolution No. 75-3, trans-
<br />mitted to the Santa Ana City Council the proposed Amendment
<br />to the Redevelopment Plan, and its report on the Plan required
<br />by Redevelopment Law; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, on April 10, 1975, the Community Redevelopment
<br />Commission, pursuant to Resolution 75-3, recommended that
<br />the Santa Aha City Council adopt the proposed Amendment to
<br />the Redevelopment Plan.
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
<br />of the City of Santa Ana as follows:
<br />
<br /> 1. That the report of the Community Redevelopment
<br />Commission on the proposed Amendment to the Redevelopment
<br />Plan dated March 28, 1975, and the proposed Amendment to the
<br />Redevelopment Plan dated April 2, 1975, are hereby received
<br />and filed.
<br />
<br /> 2. That the City Council hereby consents to the hold-
<br />ing of Joint Public Hearing on the proposed Amendment to
<br />the Redevelopment Plan for the City of Santa Ana Community
<br />Redevelopment Project Area, and the Environmental Impact
<br />Report therefor, with the Community Redevelopment Commission,
<br />and the Community Redevelopment Agency, on Thursday, May
<br />15, 1975, at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Santa
<br />Ana City Hall, 22 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, California.
