JLC:ar <br />7/7/75 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 75-86 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING CONDEMNATION <br />OF REAL PROPERTY FOR STREET WIDENING <br />OF FLOWER STREET FROM PINE STREET <br />TO SANTA ANA BOULEVARD (A.P. 008-213-28~ <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of <br />Santa Ana does hereby find and declare that the public interest <br />and necessity require that in order to widen Flower Street, <br />the hereinbelow described real property be condemned. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That work is to begin immediate- <br />ly, and it is necessary for the City of Santa Ana to have <br />possession of the hereinbelow described property as soon as <br />possible. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That such acquisition is done <br />in a manner consistent with the greatest public good and the <br />least private injury. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the attached map be entered <br />as Exhibit A and be used as an illustration of the hereinbelow <br />described property: <br /> <br />Legal Description A.P. 008-213-28 <br /> <br />Ail those portions of Lot 1 of the Pine Street Tract, <br />in the City of Santa Ana, as shown on a map recorded <br />in Book 8, Page 59, Miscellaneous Maps, records of <br />said Orange County, described as follows: <br /> <br />Parcel 1. That portion of said Lot 1 lying Easterly <br />of a line parallel with and distant 40 feet Westerly, <br />measured at right angles, from the following described <br />line; <br /> <br />Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of <br />Flower Street with the centerline of Pine Street <br />extending Eastward from Flower Street as shown on <br />a map of Tract No. 101 in the City of Santa Ana, <br />recorded in Book 11, Page 1, Miscellaneous Maps <br />of said Orange County; thence Northerly in a <br />straight line to the intersection of the centerline <br />of Orange Street (now called Flower Street) with <br />the centerline of Fourth Street (now called Santa <br />Ana Boulevard), as shown on a map of the Ross <br />Addition to Santa Ana in the City of Santa Ana <br />recorded in Book 3, Pages 534 and 535, Miscellaneous <br />records of Los Angeles County, California. <br /> <br />Parcel 2. A spandrel shaped parcel of land bounded <br />Southerly by the South line of said Lot 1, bounded <br />Easterly by the Westerly line of Parcel 1 above <br />described and bounded Northwesterly by the arc of a <br />curve concave Northwesterly having a radius of 25 <br />feet and being tangent to said Southerly and Easterly <br />boundaries. <br /> <br /> <br />
