MJK:nr <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 75-104 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN <br />AGREEMENT WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE OF <br />THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA FOR A POPULATION ESTI- <br />MATE OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 40200 of the Government Code of the <br />State of California grants the legislative body of a city the <br />power to take a census of said city between the years of taking <br />the federal census; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 2107.2 of the Streets and Highways <br />Code of the State of California authorizes a city to apply <br />to the Department of Finance of the State of California to esti- <br />mate said city's population; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is desired that a population estimate <br />of the City of Santa Ana be made; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has budgeted $80,000.00 <br />to be spent in Fiscal Year 1975-76 for the making of a popula- <br />~on estimate of the City of Santa Ana. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council <br />of the City of Santa Ana hereby authorizes the City Manager <br />to execute an agreement between the City of Santa Ana and the <br />Department of Finance of the State of California providing for <br />the services of said Department in making an estimate of popu- <br />lation of the City of Santa Ana under authority of Section 2107.2 <br />of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California <br />and agreeing that the City of Santa Ana shall pay the cost of <br />making such estimate in accordance with the schedule of charges <br />contained in said agreement. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Aha at its re§ular meeting held on the 4th day <br />of August , 1975. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~)EENCE I. /t6ALONE <br /> <br /> <br />
