RESOLUTION N0.76-28 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA <br />ANA RESTRICTING PARKING ON CERTAIN AREAS OF NEWHOPE STREET <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in order to provide and maintain the maximum traffic flow upon <br />Newhope Street and to permit the establishment of bicycle lanes for an increasing <br />number of bicyclists, the full width of said streets must be employed in certain <br />areas during certain times of the day; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the maintenance of parking spaces upon said streets in these areas <br />during those certain times would constitute a considerable hazard to motorists <br />and bicyclists by reason of the necessity of closing traffic lanes to provide <br />such parking spaces; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That parking is prohibited between the hours <br />of 7:00 A.M. and 9:00 A.M. and between 2:00 P.M. and 4:00 P.M. daily except Sat- <br />urdays, Sundays and holidays on both sides of Newhope Street between Edinger <br />Avenue and Regent Drive. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its <br />regular meeting held on the 17th day of February , 1976. <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br /> I, FLORENCE I.
