RESOLUTION NO. 76-83 <br />Page Three <br /> <br /> g. Vacation Computation and Usase. From and after July 31, 1976, or as soon <br />thereafter as possible, for the purposes of affected employees, Section 9-130 of the <br />Santa Aha Municipal Code shall be interpreted to provide that any employee, after <br />completion of six months' of continuous full-time permanent or probationary service, <br />may be allowed to take all or any proportionate fraction of his or her earned vacation, <br />subject to scheduling approval of his or her supervisor. <br /> <br /> h. Re-Employment Rishts After Layoff. Without in any other way limiting or <br />modifying the provisions of Section 1009 of the Santa Aha City Charter, and subject <br />to the conditions therein with respect to the renewal of an abolished position or <br />the creation of a substantially identical position within two years after the discharge <br />of an employee pursuant thereto, from and after July 1, 1976 affected employees who <br />are terminated due to layoff will be eligible for re-employment with their former <br />unused sick leave accrual reinstated for a period of up to two years following such <br />termination due to layoff. <br /> <br /> i. And, in addition, any and all employee benefits which said officers and <br />employees were entitled to receive on June 30, 1976 by reason of prior action of <br />the Council, provided and excepting, however, that the health insurance benefit <br />shall be as provided hereinabove, and not as it existed on June 30, 1976. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That this amendment shall take effect on July 1, 1976. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular <br />meeting held on the ~Tth day of .?u]y , 1976. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUIqTY OF ORANGE )SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br /> I, FLORENCE I.
