July 1, 1947, and as amended effective October 1, 1951, <br /> February 1, 1954, September 1, 1956, July 1, 1959, November 1, 1960, September 1, <br /> 1963, April 1, 1964, February 1, 1965, January 16, 1969, November 1, 1970, and <br /> June 1, 1974, which provide for participation of Public Agency, hereby agree <br /> as follows: <br /> <br />The following subparagraph shall be added to Paragraph 5 of said contract: <br /> <br />~. (d) Section 20930.3 (providing service credit up to four years for <br /> any continuous military or mercb-n~t ma~ine service for persons <br /> who are members because of employment by Public Agency). <br /> <br />Paragraph 5-5 shall be added to said contract: <br /> <br /> Public Agency, in accordance with Section 207~0, Government Code, <br /> m~l! cease to be an "employer" for purposes of Chapter 6 of the <br /> Public Employees' Retirement Law effective as of the effective date <br /> of this amendment to this contract. Accumulated contributions of <br /> the Public Agency as of the date of such amendment shall be fixed <br /> and determined as provided in Section LK)759, Government Code, and <br /> such accumulated contributions and contributions hereafter made <br /> sh-l! be held by the Board as provided in Section ~0759, Govern- <br /> sent Code. <br /> <br />C. Paragraph 6 (a) shall be stricken from said contract and the following <br /> paragraph shall be substituted therefor: <br /> <br />6. Public Agency shall contribute to said Retirement System as follows: <br /> <br />With respect to miscellaneous members, the Public Agency shall <br />contribute the following percentages of monthly salaries earned <br />as miscellaneous members of said System: <br /> <br />(!) 0.O~8 percent until June 30, 1980 on account of the liability <br /> for prior service benefits. <br /> <br />(2) 9.050 percent on account of the liability for current service <br /> benefits. <br /> <br />(3) 0.218 percent on account of the benefits provided under the <br /> 19~9 Survivor program. <br /> <br />Ret.
