RESOLUTION NO. 76-107 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />FIXING CHARGES FOR THE INSTALLATION OF NEW WATER MAINS AND <br />FRONT FOOTAGE CHARGES FOR CONNECTION TO EXISTING WATER MAINS <br />FOR WHICH NO PAYMENT HAS PREVIOUSLY BEEN MADE AND REPEALING <br />RESOLUTION NO. 75-117 <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha: <br /> <br /> 1. That the following rates shall be charged to all applicants <br />requiring the installation of new water mains as provided for in Section <br />39-22 of the qanta Ana Municipal Code. Upon the determination of the Director <br />of Public Works of the size or sizes required, for the proposed development, <br />the following charges shall be made: <br /> <br />6" or smaller water mains at $7.50 per linear foot. <br />8" water mains at $9.50 per linear foot. <br />lO" water mains at $12.00 per linear foot. <br />12" or larger water mains at $14.00 per linear foot. <br /> <br /> 2. That none of the above charges shall be made if the applicant <br />installs water mains and hydrants, at his own expense, to the satisfaction <br />of the Director of Public Works. <br /> <br /> 3. That a charge of one-half of the applicable linear foot charge <br />multiplied by the number of feet of frontage of the parcel or lot shall be <br />collected for each recorded parcel or lot requiring the connection of a service <br />to an existing water main for which no previous payment has been made for such <br />parcel or lot. <br /> <br /> 4. That Resolution No. 75-117 fixing charges for water mains is <br />hereby repealed, effective October l, 1976. <br /> <br /> 5.
