EIR & Exhibit Filed <br />in CA 78.3, 1976 <br /> <br />REL:nr <br />8-30-76 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 76-117 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA AMENDING THE LAND USE AND OPEN <br />SPACE ELEMENTS OF THE GENERAL PLAN BY REDESIG- <br />NATING 9.5 ACRES LOCATED AT RAITT STREET AND <br />SEGERSTROM AVENEUE FROM OPEN-SPACE TO <br />LOW-DEN$I~TY RESIDENTIAL <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at its August 23, <br />1976, regular meeting, following public hearing noticed and held <br />in the manner prescribed in Section 27-16 of the Santa Ana Munici- <br />pal Code, has approved and recommended to this Council an amendment <br />to the General Plan of the City of Santa Ana, as hereinafter set <br />forth; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council, on September 20, 1976, has held <br />a public hearing, duly noticed, in accordance with Section 27-17 <br />of the Santa Ana Municipal Code, and based upon such hearing and <br />the evidence therein presented, does now find the said amendment, <br />as recommended by the Planning Commission, to be in the public <br />interest; and <br /> <br /> WHEtkEAS, this Council, prior to taking this action, has <br />reviewed and considered the information contained in that certain <br />document entitled "Final Environmental Impact Report on the Pro- <br />posed General Plan Amendment, Zone Change, and Tentative Tract No. <br />9222 in Santa Ana, California," and has approved said document as <br />the final environmental impact report for the project proposed on <br />the subject site; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Land Use and Open <br />Space elements of the General Plan of the City of Santa Ana are <br />hereby amended by deleting a site consisting of approximately nine <br />and one-half acres, located at the northwest corner of Raitt Street <br />and Segerstrom Avenue, from the open space designation and redis- <br />ignating such site as low density residential, in accordance with <br />that certain document entitled "Exhibit 76-2, General Plan Amend- <br />ment No. 1976-2," on file with the Clerk of the Council. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED, this <br />by the following vote: <br /> <br />20th day of September , 1976, <br /> <br />AYES: Brandt, Ward, Bricken, Ortiz, Yamamoto, Garthe <br /> <br />NOES: None <br /> <br />ABSENT: Evans <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />FLORENCE I.
