REL:nr <br />£IR ~ £xhibit Piled 8-30-76 <br />in CA 78.3, 1976 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 76-118 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA AMENDING THE LAND USE AND OPEN <br />SPACE ELEMENTS OF THE GENERAL PLAN BY REDESIG- <br />NATING 1.5 ACRES LOCATED NORTH OF SEGERSTROM AVENUE <br />AND 550 FEET EAST OF RAITT STREET FROM OPEN <br />SPACE TO LOW-DENSITY RESIDENTIAL <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at its August 23, 1976 <br />regular meeting, following public hearing noticed and held in the <br />manner prescribed in Section 27-16 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code, <br />has approved and recommended to this Council an amendment to the <br />General Plan of the City of Santa Ana, as hereinafter set forth; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council, on September 20, 1976, has held a <br />public hearing, duly noticed, in accordance with Section 27-17 of <br />the Santa Ana Municipal Code, and based upon such hearing and the <br />evidence therein presented does now find the said amendment, as <br />recommended by the Planning Commission, to be in the public interest; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council, prior to taking this action, has <br />reviewed and considered the information contained in that certain <br />document entitled "Final Environmental Impact Report on the Pro- <br />posed General Plan Amendment, Zone Change, and Tentative Tract No. <br />9222 in Santa Ana, California," and has approved said document as <br />the final environmental impact report for the project proposed on <br />the subject site; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Land Use and Open <br />Space elements of the General Plan of the City of Santa Ana are <br />hereby amended by deleting a site consisting of approximately one <br />and one-half acres, located on the north side of Segerstrom Avenue, <br />approximately 550 feet east of Raitt Street, from the open space <br />designation and redesignating such site as low density residential, <br />in accordance with that certain document entitled "Exhibit 76-3, <br />General Plan Amendment No. 1976-3," on file with the Clerk of the <br />Council. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED, this 20th day of <br />the following vote: <br /> <br /> AYES: Yamamoto~ Brandt, Bricken, <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Evans <br /> <br />September , 1976, by <br /> <br /> 0rtiz~ Garthe~ Ward <br /> <br />ATTEST <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />K~ITH 1'..
