Heinly <br />Noes, Councilmen None <br />Absent, Councilmen None <br /> <br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of <br /> <br />Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the following Resolution entitled <br /> <br /> "Resolution No. 57-261 concerning through streets in the City <br /> of Santa Ana" <br /> <br />designating Sixth Street from Broadway to Bristol Street as a through street, as <br /> <br />recommended by the Traffic Engineer, was considered and passed by the following vote <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen Royal E. Hubbard, Stanley C. Gould, Jr., <br /> A.A.Hall, J. Ogden Markel, Dale H. Heinly <br />Noes, Councilmen None <br />Absent, Councilmen None --% <br /> <br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of <br /> <br />Councilman Markel, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the following Resolution entitle [: <br /> <br /> "Resolution No. 57-262 declaring 'Yield-Right-of-Way Intersection'" <br /> <br />directing traffic on Bishop Street to "Yield" to the traffic on Halladay Street, as <br />recomended by the Traffic Engineer, was considered and passed by the following <br /> <br />vote: <br />Ayes, <br /> <br />Noes, <br />Absent, <br /> <br /> Councilmen Royal E. Ogden Markel <br />None <br /> <br />Con:aunication was read from the Chairman of the Library Board recommending that a <br /> <br />lease for a period of one and one-half years be executed with the Executors of the <br /> <br />R.B.Newcom estate, for the premises located at 309 West Fifth Street, presently <br />occupied by the Children's Library, at a rental of $125.00 per month. On motion <br />Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the Manager was authorized to <br /> <br />negotiate for a lease upon the terms and conditions as set forth by the Library <br />Board. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the City Council <br />adjourned to Monday, October 14, 1957, at 7:30 P.M. in the Council Chamber. <br /> <br /> Clerk of the Council <br /> <br /> <br />
