<br />designating Sixth Street from Broadway to Bristol Street as a through street, as
<br />
<br />recommended by the Traffic Engineer, was considered and passed by the following vote

<br />Con:aunication was read from the Chairman of the Library Board recommending that a
<br />
<br />lease for a period of one and one-half years be executed with the Executors of the
<br />
<br />R.B.Newcom estate, for the premises located at 309 West Fifth Street, presently
<br />occupied by the Children's Library, at a rental of $125.00 per month. On motion
<br />Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the Manager was authorized to
<br />
<br />negotiate for a lease upon the terms and conditions as set forth by the Library
<br />Board.
<br />
<br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the City Council
<br />adjourned to Monday, October 14, 1957, at 7:30 P.M. in the Council Chamber.
