REL:nr 10-21-76 RESOLUTION NO. 76-132 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING NEWPORT-IRVINE WASTE- MANAGEMENT PLANNING AGENCY (NIWA) 1976-1977 GENERAL AND PROJECT COMMITTEE NO. 1 BUDGETS WHEREAS, this Council has heretofore approved and autho- rized execution of that certain agreement entitled "First Amended Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement Creating Newport-Irvine Waste- Management Planning Agency (NIWA)" (the JPA); and WHEREAS, the hereinabove referred to JPA provides that the General and Project Committee Budgets be submitted to members for approval; and WHEREAS, the hereinabove referred to JPA provides that approval or assent of each member in any matter requiring such shall be evidenced by a certified copy of the resolution of the governing board of such member filed with the Agency; and WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of NIWA has submitted for approval by the members of NIWA proposed General and Project Committee No. 1 Budgets for the 1976-1977 fiscal year, which Bud- gets are on file in the office of the Clerk of the Council and are incorporated by this reference herein. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana does hereby resolve, determine and order as follows: mittee No. approved. SECTION l: That the proposed General and Project Com- 1 Budgets for the 1976/1977 fiscal year are hereby SECTION 2: That a certified copy of this resolution is hereby directed to be filed with the Secretary of NIWA. SECTION 3: That the amount of $5,000.00 is hereby di- rected to be transmitted to the Treasurer of NIWA.
