REL:nr <br />11r22-76 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 76-146 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA AMENDING THE LAND USE ELEMENT <br />OF THE GENERAL PLAN BY REDESIGNATING 12.4 <br />ACRES LOCATED AT GREENVILLE STREET AND WARNER <br />AVENUE FROM COMMUNTTY SHOPPING CENTER TO <br />MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at its October ll, <br />1976, regular meeting, following public hearing noticed and held <br />in the manner prescribed in Section 27-16 of the Santa Ana Muni- <br />cipal Code, has approved and recommended to this Council an amend- <br />ment to the General Plan of the City of Santa Ana as hereinafter <br />set forth; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council, on December 6, 1976, has held <br />a public hearing, duly noticed, in accordance with Section 27-17 <br />of the Santa Ana Municipal Code, and based upon such hearing and <br />the evidence therein presented, does now find the said amendment, <br />as recommended by the Planning Commission, to be in the public <br />interest, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council, prior to taking this action has <br />reviewed and considered the negative declaration prepared for <br />this General Plan amendment, designated initial study number 76-140, <br />and does now find that such amendment will not have a significant <br />effect on the environment for the reasons set forth therein; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Land Use Element <br />of the General Plan of the City of Santa Ana is hereby amended <br />by deleting a site consisting of approximately 12.4 Acres, located <br />on the south-west corner of Warner Avenue and Greenville Street, <br />from the Community Shoppinq Center designation and redesignating <br />such site as medium density residential, in accordance with that <br />certain document entitled "Exhibit 76-4, General Plan Amendment <br />No. 76-4," on file with the Clerk of the Council. <br /> <br />the <br /> <br /> ADOPTED, this 6th day of December , 1976, by <br />following vote: <br /> <br /> AYES: COUNCILMEN: Brandt, Ortiz, Bricken, Yamamoto, <br /> Garthe, Ward <br /> NOES: COUNCILMEN: Evans <br /> <br />ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />KEITH L.
