<br />On motion of Counci]m~u Hubbard, seconded by Hall and carried, the communications
<br />
<br />from the Plauning Co~mission recommending approval of proposal to annex property
<br />situated on the south side of East First Street, approximately 673 feet east of
<br />
<br />Lyon Street and extending to a point approximately 1240.52 feet south of First
<br />
<br />Street, consisting of approximately 4.429 acres, and from the Boundary Commission
<br />
<br />advising that the boundaries of the proposed ~n=exation are reasonably definite and
<br />
<br />certain, were received and filed.
<br />
<br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of
<br />
<br />Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the following Resolution entitle~
<br />
<br />"Resolution No. 57-266 initiating proceedings for the annexation
<br />of territory to the City of Santa Ana, designating t'East of
<br />Prentice Park Annex:' as a name for said territory, and giving
<br />notice of time and place of hearing of protests thereto"
<br />
<br />was considered and passed by the following vote:

<br />approval of proposal to annex an irregular-shaped parcel of property situated wes~
<br />
<br />of Tustin Avenue, on both sides of East First Street, extending north to Fourth
<br /> consisting of approximately lb.~16 acres and
<br />Street and south approximately 592.25 fee~ known as "First and Thstin W. Annex",
<br />
<br />and report from the Boundary Commission advising that the boundaries are reasonably
<br />
<br />definite and certain, were received and filed.
