RESOLUTION NO. 76-153 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AMENDING RESOLUTION 58-281 DESIGNATING THE CLASS OF ALARM <br />AND COMMUNICATIONS SUPERVISOR AS MIDDLE MANAGEMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on November 3, 1958, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution <br />No. 58-281, revising and re-establishing the Basic Compensation Plan for all officers <br />and employees of the City of Santa Aha; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of Santa Ana <br />requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position classification <br />and pay plan subject to civil service rules and regulations and the approval of the <br />City Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended said Resolution; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on July 27, 1976, the City Council approved Resolution No. 76-85 <br />amending the City's Classification and Pay Plan by designating certain classes as <br />Unrepresented Middle Fmnagement and providing compensation adjustments for those <br />classes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff, in drafting Resolution No. 76-85, unintentionally failed to <br />include in the list of class titles being designated as Unrepresented Middle-Management <br />by said Resolution the class title of Alarm and Communications Supervisor; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is now desired to correct said oversight. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That Section 3 of Resolution No. 58-281, as <br />amended, is hereby further amended by adding the parenthetical identifier (MM) as <br />designating Unrepresented Middle Management, next to the class title of Alarm and <br />Communications Supervisor. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That this amendment shall take effect on January <br /> , 197 7 <br /> <br />ADOPTED, this 28th day of December , 197 6 , by the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: COUNCILMEN: Bricken, Garthe, Ortiz, Yamamoto~.
