RCS:ar 12/27/76 RESOLUTION NO. 7Y- 1 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA REVERSING THE ACTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION ON VARIANCE APPLICATION NO. 76-58 AND DENYING SAID VARIANCE APPLICATION NO. 76-58. WHEREAS, a public hearing was duly held before the City Council of the City of Santa Ana on December 20, 1976, on the Negative Declaration and Variance Application No. 76-58 filed by F. Beldon Fields to permit group housing quarters for juvenile offenders in an existing motel at 1101 West Santa Ana Boulevard in the CD District, and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission approved such variance application on November 8, 1976, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana: 1. That based on such public hearing and oral and documentary evidence submitted therein, the City Council does hereby reverse the action of the Planning Commission approving said Variance Application No. 76-58 and does hereby deny said Variance Application No. 76-58. 2. That the City Council hereby adopts as its findings of fact for denial of Variance Application No. 76- 58 the Reasons for the Staff Recommendation set forth in paragraph 4 of the "Finding of Fact, Variance Application No. 76-58," prepared and submitted by the Planning Commission, on file in the Office of the Clerk of the Council and incor- porated herein by reference as though fully set forth.
