KLG:adg 6/30/77 RESOLUTION NO. 77- 70 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA RESCINDING THAT CERTAIN AGREEMENT ENTITLED MAJOR DIVERSION PROGRAM BETWEEN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND COUNTY OF ORANGE. WHEREAS, this Council, on June 6, 1977, at its regular meeting, approved and reconunended for execution that agreement entitled"Major Diversion Project," which amends the original agreement~ May 25, 19~ween the City of Santa Ana and the County of Orange by extending said Project for three (3) months subject to funding of said Project period being extended by LEAA; and WHEREAS, this Council, on June 20, 1977, at its regular meeting, approved and authorized for execution an agreement entitled "Major Diversion Program," between the City of Santa Aha and the County of Orange for funding from July 1, 1977, to September 30, 1977, which agreement's effective operation was contingent upon LEAA denial of funds pursuant to the Project agreement as referenced above; and WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana, through its Project Director, has subsequently been notified as to approval of the extension represented by the amendment approved by this Council on June 6, 1977; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha that that agreement approved for execution on June 20, 1977, being contingent upon extension of funds pursuant to the Project agreement approved for execution on June 6, 1977, which extension has now been granted, is hereby rescinded and of no further effect.
