RESOLUTION NO. 77- 73 <br />Page Three <br /> <br />NOTE 1: <br /> <br />Additional charge for castor wheels <br />is two dollars and fifty cents ~$Z.50) <br />per month. <br /> <br />NOTE 2: <br /> <br />Additional charges are authorized <br />in those cases where containers <br />must be rolled out to the collection <br />point by the trash collector, or <br />where other problems substantially <br />increase the contractor's costs. <br /> <br />NOTE 3: Rental agreements must be with the <br /> City's refuse collection contractor. <br /> <br />5. (al It shall be mandatory that residential <br />buildings with four or more dwelling units be served <br />by com~ercial refuse containers (dumpsters), <br />obtained through agreement with the City's refuse <br />collection contractor. The requirement for manda- <br />tory containers may be waived for residential <br />buildings existing on January 1, 1972, upon a <br />finding by the Uirector of Public Works that no <br />space is available for such container within the <br />boundary lines of subject property. In no case, <br />however, shall container locations be permitted <br />in the front yard set-back or within areas required <br />for meeting the minimum off-street parking require- <br />ments of applicable zoning regulations. Any appli- <br />cant who has been denied a waiver by the Director <br />of Public Works may appeal such action to the City <br />Council by filing within thirty (30) days after <br />such denial, a written statement of his reasons <br />why the City Council should reverse the action <br />from which the appeal is taken. <br /> <br /> (b) If space for a commercial container is <br />not available as determined above, the City's fee <br />schedule shall apply as follows: <br /> <br /> Monthly Cost <br />NO.
