RESOLUTION NO. 77-92 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 58-281 TO ADD THE NEW CLASS TITLE OF ACCOUNTANT I AUTHORIZED IN THE 1977-78 ANNUAL BUDGET AND TO CHANGE THE CLASS TITLE OF ACCOUNTANT TO ACCOUNTANT II WHEREAS, on November 3, 1958, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution No. 58-281, revising and re-establishing the Basic Compensation Plan for all officers and employees of the City of Santa Ana; and WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of Santa Aha requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position classification and pay plan subject to Civil Service Rules and Regulations and the approval of the City Council; and WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended said Resolution; and WHEREAS, it is now desired to add a new class to the list of class titles con- tained in said Resolution No. 58-281, as amended, and to allocate salary and wage schedules thereto and to change an existing class title. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That Section 3 of Resolution No. 58-281, as amended, is hereby further amended by: Adding, in proper alphabetical sequence, the following class title at the salary range numbers on the effective dates as next herein set out: Class Title Salary Range Numbers 8-1-77 1-1-78 4-1-78 Accountant I 340 347 356 2. Changing the class title of Accountant to Accountant II. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That this amendment shall take effect on August 16, 1977.
