RESOLUTION NO. 77-155 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL APPROVING AND PROVIDING FOR CONTRIBUTION TO PAY CERTAIN COSTS AND EXPENSES IN ASSESSMENT DISTRICT CITY OF SANTA ANA WHEREAS, this City Council has by Resolution declared its intention to authorize the construction'of certain works of improve- ment pursuant to the terms and provisions of the ',Improvement ~ct of 1911," being Division 7 of the Streets and Highways Code Of the State of California, in a special assessment district in said City; and, WHEREAS, this City Council at this time is desirous Of providing a contribution to pay a portion of the costs and expenses of the work and proceedings; and WHEREAS, this City Council, pursuant to Chapter 2.5, Part 3, Division 7 of the Streets and Highways Code (commencing with Section 5126) may so provide for a contribution by said City of a part of the costs and expenses of the work done under said Division, any .%ime'prior to the confirmation of the proceedings'on said.assessment'district7 NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED 'BY ~HE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA: SECTION 1. The above recitals are all true and correct. SECTION 2. The City Council shall contribute the sum of $ 198,272.65 , to be applied towards the costs and expenses of the works~o£ improvement as installed and completed in what is known as ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 240 Said funds shall be appropriated from the following source: CO~UNITY DEVELOPMENT FUND SECTION 3. That said contribution is as authorized pursuant to Chapter 2.5 Of the "Improvement Act of 1911," being Divimion 7 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California. .SECTION 4. Said c0htribution ~hall be paid to the co~tractor or his assigns upon delivery of the assessment roll and warrant to him, as so provided in the "Improvement Act of 1911," and upon payment of the balance of all incidental expenses due under said proceedings-
