RESOLUTION NO. 77-155 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL APPROVING <br />AND PROVIDING FOR CONTRIBUTION TO PAY <br />CERTAIN COSTS AND EXPENSES IN ASSESSMENT <br />DISTRICT <br /> <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this City Council has by Resolution declared its <br />intention to authorize the construction'of certain works of improve- <br />ment pursuant to the terms and provisions of the ',Improvement ~ct of <br />1911," being Division 7 of the Streets and Highways Code Of the State <br />of California, in a special assessment district in said City; and, <br /> WHEREAS, this City Council at this time is desirous Of <br />providing a contribution to pay a portion of the costs and expenses <br />of the work and proceedings; and <br /> WHEREAS, this City Council, pursuant to Chapter 2.5, Part 3, <br />Division 7 of the Streets and Highways Code (commencing with Section <br />5126) may so provide for a contribution by said City of a part of the <br />costs and expenses of the work done under said Division, any .%ime'prior <br />to the confirmation of the proceedings'on said.assessment'district7 <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED 'BY ~HE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA: <br /> SECTION 1. The above recitals are all true and correct. <br /> SECTION 2. The City Council shall contribute the sum of <br />$ 198,272.65 , to be applied towards the costs and expenses of <br />the works~o£ improvement as installed and completed in what is known as <br /> ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 240 <br />Said funds shall be appropriated from the following source: <br /> CO~UNITY DEVELOPMENT FUND <br /> SECTION 3. That said contribution is as authorized pursuant <br />to Chapter 2.5 Of the "Improvement Act of 1911," being Divimion 7 of <br />the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California. <br /> .SECTION 4. Said c0htribution ~hall be paid to the co~tractor <br />or his assigns upon delivery of the assessment roll and warrant to him, <br />as so provided in the "Improvement Act of 1911," and upon payment of <br />the balance of all incidental expenses due under said proceedings- <br /> <br /> <br />
