RS/k 11-1-77 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-135 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ~4ENDING THE ARTERIAL <br />STREETS PORTION OF THE LAND USE AND ARTERIAL <br />STREETS SECTION OF THE GENERAL PLAN BY DE- <br />LETING A PORTION OF MEMORY LANE LOCATED BE- <br />TWEEN FLOWER AND BROADWAY STREETS THEREFROM <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore referred to the <br />Planning Commission a proposed amendment to the Arterial <br />Streets portion of the Land Use and Arterial Streets Section <br />of the General Plan which would delete from the said document <br />that portion of Memory Lane located between Flower Street <br />and the future Broadway Street extension, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has duly given public <br />notice and held a public hearing in the manner prescribed in <br />Section 27-16 S.A.M.C. and, based upon such hearing and the evi- <br />dence presented therein, reported to the City Council by its <br />Resolution No. 6088 that it found said amendment to be in the <br />public interest and recommended adoption of said amendment, <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has duly noticed and held a public <br />hearing in accordance with Section 27-17 S.A.M.C. and, based upon <br />such hearing and the evidence presented therein, does now find <br />this said amendment to be in the public interest, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, prior to taking this action the Council has re- <br />viewed and considered the information contained in Negative <br />Declaration No. 77-194, and, on the basis thereof, finds that <br />the General Plan amendment will not have a significant effect <br />upon the environment, <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Ana as follows: <br /> <br /> That the arterial streets portion of the Land Use <br />and Arterial Streets Section of the General Plan is hereby <br />amended to delete therefrom that portion of Memory Lane <br />located between Flower Street and the future Broadway Street <br />extension as an arterial highway, in accordance with that certain <br />document entitled "Exhibit 77-3, General Plan amendment 77-3," on <br />file with the Clerk of the Council. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED this <br />by the following vote: <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />7th day of November <br /> <br />AYES: COUNCILMEN: Bricken, Ward, Ortiz, <br /> Evans, Garthe, Brandt <br />NOES: COUNCILMEN: None n <br />ABSENT: COUNCILMEN:None~ ~~/ <br /> MAYOR <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br /> , 1977 <br />Yamamoto, <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FO~ <br />~~, ClintOy Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
