It was moved by Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Markel and <br />carried, that the Council go on record as favoring some regulations by the <br />Legislature to protect motor escort services and that copies of the Minute Order be <br />forwarded to the State Senator and Assemblymen. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the Department of Public Works and on motion of Councilman <br />Gould, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the request of the Orange County Fair was <br />granted to hang overhead flag lines at various locations along State Highway Route <br />18~a in connection with publicity program advertising the 1958 Orange County Fair <br />to be held May 23 to June l, 1958, subject to conditions. <br /> <br /> The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of <br /> Councilman Gould, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the following Resolution entitle <br /> <br /> "Resolution No. 58-109 concerning through streets in the City <br /> of Santa Ana" <br /> <br />establishing a stop sign on Third Street at French Street, as recommended by the <br />Department of Public Works, was considered and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen Royal E. Hubbard, Stanley C. Gould, Jr., <br /> A.A.Hall, J. Ogden Markel, Dale H. Heinly <br />Noes, Councilmen None <br />Absent, Councilmen None <br /> <br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of <br />CounciLman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the following Resolution <br />entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution No. 58-1t0 concerning parking limitations and curb <br /> ~arkings in accordance therewith" <br /> <br />establishing vision zones on Sixth Street and on Minter Street, as recommended by <br />the Department of Public Works, was considered and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen Royal E.
