James, Co-ordinator of Industrial Development Division, Chamber of <br /> <br />Commerce, ~rith reference to the industrial growth in the past three years in Santa <br /> <br />Aha, was received and filed. <br /> <br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of <br /> <br />Councilman Hall, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the follo~ring Resolution entitled <br /> <br />"Resolution No. 58-136 concerning parking limitations and curb <br />markings in accordance therewith" <br /> <br />establishing a loading zone on the north side of Fourth Street between Birch and <br /> <br />Rgss Streets, reference request of Gray's Furniture Store, 405 West Fourth Street, <br /> <br />as recommended by the Department of Public Works, was considered and passed by the <br /> <br />following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen Royal E. Heinly on Sanitation Districts Nos. <br /> <br />and 7, and a certified copy of the Minute Order be furnished the County <br /> <br />Sanitation District. <br /> <br />The Manager presented a design on parking, developed by Buffums', on Tenth Street <br /> <br />between Main and Bush Streets. After discussion, the Mayor indicated the general <br /> <br />agreement of the Council of the proposed re-arrangement of parking on said street <br /> <br />on condition that Tenth Street be made one-way from Main to Bush Streets, and in- <br /> <br />structed the ~ager to proceed with the drawing of the necessary documents for <br /> <br />submission to the Council at the next meeting. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilm~ Hubbard, seconded by Markel and carried, the communication <br /> <br />from the Manager, Orange County Fair, requesting that Sunday, May 25th, be <br /> <br />"Santa Aha Day", was received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Markel and carried, the telegram <br /> <br />ad~tressed to Mayor Heinly from Ed Tunison, Costa Mesa, in regard to the County Jail <br /> <br />was received and filed. <br /> <br /> <br />
