He~nly <br /> <br /> The Manager presented a tabulation of bids for the construction of a sanitary sewer <br /> <br />on Eighth Street from Van Ness to Birch Street and Ross Street fro~ Sixth to Eighth <br /> <br />Streets, Project No. 20, as follows: <br /> <br />Plumbing Contractors, Inc. $-~52.00 10~ bond <br />Edwin L. Barkley 8714.~O 10~ bond <br /> <br />~.lmer E. Barnett 93~2.80 bond <br /> <br />Om recommendation of the c~ttee and on motion of Councilman Rubbard, seconded by <br /> <br />Hall and carried, the bid of Edwin L. B~kley, in the sum of $8714.00, and at the <br /> <br />Agreement <br />Orange County Flood <br />Control District <br />Construct culvert <br />on Delhi Road <br /> <br />unit prices quoted, was accepted and the other bids rejected. <br /> <br />O~ motion of Oouncilman wa11~ seconded by ~Abbard and carried, proper officials <br />were authorized to execute agree,~nt dated June 27, 1958, with the Orange C~unty <br />Flood Control District, wherein the City agrees to pay its proportionate share of <br />the cost f~ the construction of 64 feet of a 104 foOt culvert on Delhi Road at the <br /> <br />Greenville-Banning Channel, Project No. D-3. <br /> <br /> <br />
